Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack (born 2 October 1989), popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist, actor, dancer, philanthropist and a businessman from Tandale, Dar es Salaam. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Film production titled Zoom Extra also owns TV & a Radio Station titled Wasafi Tv & Wasafi Fm.
Diamond won numerous awards at Channel O, MTV Awards, Soundcity, Kilimanjaro Music Awards, Headies, Afrima, Afrimma, Kora, AEA, the HiPipo Music Awards and many more.
Diamond is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved and decorated East and Central African artist at the moment. He is believed to be the highest selling Tanzanian artist as well as being among the artists earning the highest income in the African Great Lakes region’s music industry.
Diamond Platnumz released his debut album (Kamwambie) in 2010, with a total of 12 songs. In 2012 he released his second album (Lala Salama), with a total of 10 songs. On 14 March 2018, Diamond released his third album (A Boy From Tandale) in Kenya, with a total of 18 songs.
Today November 25, 2020 Simba serves us with a new song he made with Congolese Soukus singer, dancer, producer, and composer – Koffi Olomide. A follow up to ‘Haunisumbui‘ and ‘Ongeza’.
